Role DescriptionThis is an on-site, contract Sales Guru role based in Montana, United States. The Sales Guru will identify, qualify, and pursue new small business clients who can benefit from Phenicie Business Management’s IT and business management services.
Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting, cold and warm outreach, conducting discovery meetings, and presenting tailored service solutions to decision-makers. The role will also manage a pipeline of opportunities, prepare proposals, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to service delivery.
The Sales Guru will track activities and results, provide feedback on market trends, and represent the company at local events, networking groups, and industry functions.
Qualifications- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT services, managed services, or business consulting.
- Strong prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management capabilities, with comfort in both cold and warm outreach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical services in clear business terms.
- Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships and manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with small business operations and challenges; experience selling to small business owners is highly beneficial.
- Self‑motivated, goal-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a contract or commission‑driven environment.
- Comfort using CRM tools and basic productivity software to document activities and report on results.
- Availability to work on‑site in Montana and travel locally to client locations and events as needed.
- High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in the technology or IT support industry is strongly preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong sales results.
