Sales Support Representative-HVAC

Job Summary

Starting at $25.00 per hour and can pay higher based on experience. Ferguson is hiring Sales Support Representatives to help customers, solve problems, and learn the business from the ground up. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
• Ensure delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
• Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.

• 0-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other trades is a plus.
• Strong sales skills, including ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making timely decisions.
• Ability to react well in a fast‑paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mindset; ability to build relationships.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

• $17.77 - $28.42 hourly (range may vary by location).
• Role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
