About the Company

About the Role

Compensation: $22 per hour plus commissions (final amount determined by experience, skills and qualifications).
Sign‑on bonus: $1,000.
Schedule: Tuesday‑Saturday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with on‑call duty. This position supports property upkeep and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, pool/spa).
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely, high‑quality manner.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure safety/health code compliance.
  • Maintain property curb appeal, keeping grounds, exteriors and common areas clean, functional and well presented.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases and coordinate vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including materials used, hours worked and completion status.
  • Assist with vendor management, ensuring work is approved, scheduled and completed to company standards.
  • Participate in after‑hours emergency on‑call rotation and assist with snow and ice removal as required.
  • Provide a basic set of personal hand tools;
    Roundhouse supplies power tools and larger equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, SOPs and equipment labels.
  • Prioritize tasks with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to meet property maintenance goals.
  • Use maintenance software to track assigned tasks, update progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Comply with OSHA standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism and commitment to excellence in all work.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of general maintenance and repair experience.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand, walk, climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Must provide the required tools within 30 days of employment (list of tools provided in offer).
Preferred
  • Trade school or technical certification.
  • Maintenance experience in onsite multi‑family housing.
  • Experience with property management software (Yardi Voyager, Rent Cafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, CRM).
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
