Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The role assists in maintenance and repair efforts, performs inspections and repairs to interior and exterior areas, and handles defined tasks independently.
Responsibilities- Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building equipment
- Perform general interior maintenance—hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems
- Address minor plumbing repairs
- Complete special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and other general maintenance as assigned
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
- Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence, reporting on as-found conditions impacting client occupancy and operations
- Be on call for after‑hours emergencies
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and ensure safety of work areas; recognize hazards and propose mitigation methods
- Maintain compliance with State, County, or City ordinances, codes, or laws
- Comply with policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Document work performance and material procurement as directed
- Be a self‑motivated individual capable of working independently or in a team environment
- Complete other assigned operational tasks typical of the Maintenance Mechanic role
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, and lift
- Ability to drive long distances throughout the designated portfolio
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
- 3+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
- Completion of an applicable technical training program
Estimated compensation: 45,700.00 – 62,000.00 USD per year.
