Compensation: $26-30/hour, based on experience

As an Asphalt Roller Operator in our In-Town Paving Division, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects throughout the Flathead Valley. Your expertise in achieving perfect compaction and smoothness will directly contribute to the durability and quality of Montana's roads and surfaces.

• Master the art of roller operation with precise overlapping passes to achieve optimal compaction
• Apply your knowledge of material behavior and temperature effects to determine ideal operating parameters
• Conduct equipment inspections to ensure peak performance and safety
• Navigate safely in live traffic environments
• Operate additional equipment as projects require
• Travel to job sites across Montana

• 2+ years of operating experience (roller operation experience preferred)
• Sharp attention to detail and strong decision‑making abilities
• Excellence in both team collaboration and independent work
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Problem‑solving mindset and analytical thinking
• Commitment to safety and professional ethics
• Flexibility for various shifts and overtime when needed

• Lift and carry 25-50 lbs. regularly.
• Perform repetitive movements like bending, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.
• Sit or stand for long periods and navigate uneven terrain.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather and noisy environments.
• Frequent sitting

• Continuous grasping equipment controls
