Schedule: Full-Time | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Days Off: Closed Sundays | Rotating Saturdays | 2 Days Off Per Week
Salary: $60,000–$100,000 annually

About The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Powersports Service Technician to join their service team in Kalispell, Montana.
This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent diagnostic skills, and a passion for powersports.

What You'll Do Diagnostics & Repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on motorcycles, ATVs, and other powersports vehicles
- Repair and service engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and drivetrain components
- Troubleshoot fuel systems, carburetors, and fuel injection systems
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair ignition systems, wiring, lighting, and other electrical components
- Perform tune-ups, adjustments, and engine performance improvements
- Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid services, filter replacements, and scheduled maintenance
- Inspect vehicles to ensure safe operation and manufacturer specifications are met
- Recommend additional repairs or maintenance based on vehicle condition
- Verify repairs through testing and quality inspections before returning vehicles to customers
- Accurately document repairs, diagnostics, labor performed, and parts used
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly use shop equipment, specialty tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repair recommendations and maintenance needs
- Explain completed repairs and answer customer questions
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience while building trust and long-term relationships
- Stay current on new powersports technology, diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer repair procedures through ongoing training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience repairing motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or other powersports vehicles preferred
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
- Experience using powersports diagnostic equipment and specialty tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and service information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods throughout the workday
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized technical or vocational school in Powersports Mechanics or a related field
- Previous dealership or powersports repair experience
- Experience with motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, or similar recreational vehicles
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus
- $60,000–$100,000 annual earning potential based on experience and skill level
- Full-time, stable employment
- Closed every Sunday
