Truck Dispatcher

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Dispatcher located in Kalispell, MT. The Truck Dispatcher will coordinate and schedule the movement of freight, communicate with drivers, address routing issues, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. The role involves maintaining communication with clients, resolving logistical challenges, and providing exceptional service to both clients and drivers. Efficient documentation and communication are critical to ensure a smooth workflow and timely deliveries.

• Coordinate and schedule the movement of freight with drivers and clients to meet delivery timelines.
• Monitor delivery schedules and routing issues; address problems to minimize delays and maintain service levels.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Manage documentation and records to support timely and accurate deliveries.

• Prior experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, and knowledge of routing software tools is preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to effectively handle driver and client interactions
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with transportation management systems
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards is a plus
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected challenges professionally
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or related fields is a plus
