The Yardman supports daily operations in a busy lumberyard and warehouse environment. This hands-on role includes assembling lumber packages, assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and supporting the production of pre-fabricated building components. The position is outdoor and physically active with long-term advancement opportunities.

• Build and prepare lumber packages to fulfill customer orders.
• Maintain and organize materials in the yard and warehouse.
• Assist customers with loading building materials in all weather conditions.
• Unload freight from vendors and distributors.
• Track and report equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and yard protocols.
• Assist with wall panels, floor trusses, and wall trusses (preferred but not required).
• Provide general yard support and assist team members with additional tasks.

• Ability to work independently and follow order instructions accurately.
• Strong math skills for measurements and assembly.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 80 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a 5-panel drug test.
• Experience with forklifts, trucks, or delivery equipment is helpful.
• Local travel up to 100 miles may be required.

Outdoor yard environment with exposure to all weather.

Physical work including lifting, bending, twisting, and carrying materials.
