JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Move pallets and warehouse products.
- Pick and prepare customer orders.
- Palletize bags and warehouse inventory.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory using FIFO practices.
- Operate forklifts, skid loaders, end loaders, and other equipment.
- Inspect trucks and railcars before loading.
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Report hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations or supply chain processes.
- Meet the minimum age requirement.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics for inventory and order counts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to work extra hours during busy seasons.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and climb throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in dusty environments and different weather conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must successfully complete any required pre-employment screening if applicable.
