Support educational initiatives at the Lower Nicola Indian Band as an Education Assistant and Receptionist. This diverse role offers an engaging opportunity for those skilled in administration and community outreach.
You will serve as the first contact for the Education Department, helping community members and clients with inquiries and program details.
Your role will also involve maintaining organized filing systems, scheduling meetings, and assisting in the coordination of educational events. A proactive approach is essential in this supportive position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist visitors and community members in a friendly manner
• Answer and direct phone inquiries professionally
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems
• Support logistics for events and educational programs
• Keep the front reception area welcoming and organized
Requirements:
• Minimum post-secondary education, ideally in Administration
• Customer service or administrative experience preferred
• Experience working with First Nations communities is a benefit
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License desirable
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
