Police Services Clerk - Casual Relief

Overview

The City of Revelstoke is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused individual to join the RCMP detachment as a casual Police Services Clerk. This role provides front-line administrative and operational support, including front counter and telephone services, assisting the public, and supporting police operations.

• Respond to public inquiries and complaints.
• Process Police Information Checks and fingerprinting services.
• Maintain records and data systems, and provide general administrative support.
• Handle payments and support communications with officers.
• Ensure the accurate and confidential handling of sensitive information.

• Organized, adaptable, and able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and conflict-resolution skills; commitment to confidentiality and delivering excellent public service.
• Prior experience in a police or public safety environment is an asset.
• Requires obtaining and maintaining RCMP Reliability Security Clearance.
• Open only to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have lived in Canada for at least five years.

Rate of pay: 31.86 per hour.
