Police Services Clerk - Casual Relief

Location: Revelstoke

Overview  The City of Revelstoke is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused individual to join the RCMP detachment as a casual Police Services Clerk. This role provides front-line administrative and operational support, including front counter and telephone services, assisting the public, and supporting police operations.
Responsibilities   Respond to public inquiries and complaints.
Process Police Information Checks and fingerprinting services.
Maintain records and data systems, and provide general administrative support.
Handle payments and support communications with officers.
Ensure the accurate and confidential handling of sensitive information.
Qualifications   Organized, adaptable, and able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Strong communication, multitasking, and conflict-resolution skills; commitment to confidentiality and delivering excellent public service.
Prior experience in a police or public safety environment is an asset.
Requires obtaining and maintaining RCMP Reliability Security Clearance.
Open only to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have lived in Canada for at least five years.
Compensation  Rate of pay: 31.86 per hour.
