Position
Executive Assistant, People & Culture

Location:

Remote (BC) with optional office at 74 Seymour Street W, Kamloops.

Duration:
Temporary (less than 12 months), Full Time.

Salary Range: $62,081.00 - $77,600.00 - $96,999.00 (±5% of midpoint).

Role Overview
The Executive Assistant supports the Chief People Officer in daily operations, decision‑making, and executive coordination.

Responsibilities

Attend, participate and provide meeting support to the Chief People Officer and senior People & Culture leadership team.

Develop and maintain strong, sensitive and diplomatic working relationships with executives, board of directors, and other internal & external stakeholders to provide solutions to complex issues.

Prioritize and manage responses, expectations and deadlines.

Coordinate and gather information to assist in the preparation of reports, business and operating plan documents, as well as board reports.

Provide administrative support including managing calendars, communications, coordinating meetings, planning events, managing files and records, and submitting travel & expenses for the Chief People Officer.

Qualifications and Skills

Post‑secondary business education.

5‑7 years progressively responsible related experience, including at least five years’ experience in a senior executive support role with business project management experience, budgeting and business planning exposure.

Experience and understanding of financial statements, budget process, general ledger, expense administration and audit process.

Experience and understanding of procurement and invoicing processes.

Experience with travel and event/meeting planning.

Records management experience and understanding of process.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Excellent administrative skills with strong working knowledge of word processing, report generation and presentation creation; proven ability to work collaboratively.

Proven ability in relationship management.

Demonstrated client/customer service.

Demonstrated teamwork, coaching and mentoring abilities.

Proven executive‑level support and adherence to confidentiality and sensitivity issues experience.

Proficient skills in prioritization and scheduling.

Time management and multi‑tasking skills.

Intermediate skills and understanding of project management and execution.

Basic knowledge of SAP.

Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem solving and analytical thinking/innovation.

General business acumen.

General office computer systems skills.

Initiative and desire for continuous improvement.

What Will Make You Successful

You possess exceptional administrative, organizational and time management skills, coupled with a robust working knowledge of creating dynamic presentations, agendas and minutes, generating reports, handling travel and expenses and managing records.

You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, and you are able to build strong, trusting relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

You use sensitivity, diplomacy and tact when working with confidential information.

You have excellent customer service, problem solving and collaboration skills.

You are a self‑starter, able to anticipate what’s needed and take action accordingly.

Nice to Have

Experience with financial statements, budget process, general ledger and audit processes.

Basic knowledge of SAP and Success Factors.
