Client Service Administrator

Salary:  $24.76 to $26.38 per hour (Grid 5, Health Sciences Association Community Bargaining Agreement)

Status:  Casual

Hours of Work:  Up to 36 hours per week, on an as and when needed basis. No guaranteed hours. Initial training period close to full time. Casual staff must provide availability to work a minimum of 225 hours over any 12 month period.

Kamloops Offices: 795 Tranquille Road (North) and 210 - 450 Lansdowne Street (South)

The  Client Service Administrator  is the primary point of contact for customers visiting and contacting Open Door Group centers. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience to a diverse clientele by providing a warm welcome, effectively navigating clients to appropriate services, responding to inquiries, supporting service applications, and orienting clients to the center's resources.

The Client Service Administrator also plays a critical role in supporting the center's operations through administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining resource center information, scheduling appointments, answering and directing incoming calls. This role may also provide support by covering the duties of the Administrative Assistant if operationally required.

What you bring to the position:

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to foster positive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and maintain composure under pressure.

Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.

Ability to meet deadlines, manage varied tasks, and work under pressure while maintaining quality, client-centered service.

Proficiency in standard computer hardware and software:
Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, internet navigation, email communication, and document formatting.

Qualifications:

Grade 12;

Office Administration Certificate;

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (can be acquired after hire);

Recent, related experience of one year;

Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;

Or other qualifications deemed reasonable and relevant to the level of work.

Must pass a criminal background check.
