Enhance safety operations as a Full-Time Administrative Assistant at CEC in Kamloops, BC. Your focus will be on supporting safety management and document organization across teams.
CEC is expanding its team with a dedicated Administrative Assistant to aid the Safety Department. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills as you will maintain safety records, coordinate training sessions, and assist in audits. Your proactive nature will ensure all safety processes comply with regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative assistance to the Safety Manager
• Organize and maintain safety-related documentation
• Schedule and monitor safety training and recertifications
• Prepare agendas and minutes for safety meetings
• Carry out basic administrative tasks including filing and scanning
Requirements:
• Exceptional communication and people skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
• Competency in computer systems and software
• Familiarity with safety regulations is beneficial
