Take on a critical role as an Emergency Response Plan Technician at Simpcw Resources LLP in the North Thompson Valley, BC. Lead the creation of emergency plans and foster a strong safety culture.

In this permanent full-time role, you will work under the Corporate HSE Manager to develop detailed emergency response strategies for various projects. Your responsibilities include assessing worksites, performing first aid evaluations, and collaborating with project teams to enhance safety procedures. You will be instrumental in conducting safety drills and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement emergency response plans for diverse departments

• Conduct thorough site accessibility assessments for response adequacy

• Utilize technology for customized plan development

• Lead training efforts for emergency protocols among workers

• Assist in maintaining local resource directories for emergencies

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to multitask and organize effectively

• Background in environmental or civil construction preferred

• Familiarity with the Simpcw First Nations community valued
