Location: Revelstoke
Overview
Join Drax as a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, leading sourcing strategies and contract management while ensuring value and risk governance. This role can be based in Prince George or Vancouver. At Drax, you’ll take charge of sourcing for operations and maintenance, implementing effective strategies across our pellet manufacturing plants in Canada and the USA. Key responsibilities also include supporting procurement goals, overseeing contract handovers, and coordinating procurement operations with stakeholders and the outsourcing team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for maintenance services
- Lead tendering and contract management processes
- Facilitate smooth supplier onboarding and communication
- Drive cost-saving initiatives aligned with procurement goals
- Manage conflicts arising during contract execution
- Degree preferred but not essential
- Solid negotiation skills with stakeholders
- Understanding of contract terms and legal frameworks
- Proven conflict management abilities
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
