The Project Specialist is a contract, on-site role based in Logan Lake, BC. This position supports client projects by coordinating tasks, tracking timelines, and assisting with resource planning and budget monitoring. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing project requirements, preparing status reports and documentation, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams and client stakeholders. The Project Specialist will help manage project risks and issues, support process improvements, and ensure that project deliverables meet agreed quality and performance standards.
The role may also involve participating in client meetings, supporting presentations, and contributing to business development activities as needed.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid Analytical Skills for interpreting data, assessing project performance, and supporting decision-making.
- Customer Service orientation with a focus on building positive client relationships and responding to client needs in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, such as organizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating resources.
- Basic Sales or business development skills, including supporting proposals and identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
- Relevant post-secondary education in business, engineering, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with productivity and project tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software) and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Logan Lake, BC, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
