The Planner / Scheduler is a full-time, on-site role based in Logan Lake, BC. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed schedules for client projects, coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time. Day-to-day activities include analyzing project data, updating schedules, monitoring progress against milestones, and preparing status reports for internal teams and clients.
The Planner / Scheduler collaborates closely with consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to identify risks, adjust plans when needed, and support reliability and operational improvements. The role also involves using scheduling software and tools, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and coordination skills, with experience managing timelines and resource allocation for multiple projects.
- Proficiency with scheduling and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar), and solid general computer skills (spreadsheets, presentations, documentation).
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including data analysis, forecasting, and identifying risks or constraints in project execution.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate records, reports, and documentation are maintained.
- Experience in consulting, industrial operations, or sectors such as mining, manufacturing, or infrastructure is an asset.
- Post‑secondary education in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent applicable experience.
- Ability to work on‑site in Kamloops, BC, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a professional, inclusive approach.
