Join Teck in Logan Lake, BC as a full-time Coordinator of Indigenous Economies. This on-site role blends community engagement and data analysis to advance Indigenous economic development.
In this key role, you will facilitate commitments with Indigenous Governments and Organizations while promoting workforce retention and economic participation initiatives. Your work will involve collaboration across teams, with a focus on data analysis and relationship-building to achieve impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety by following guidelines and policies
• Facilitate implementation of agreements with Indigenous communities
• Drive workforce and supplier development initiatives
• Foster relationships with contractors and internal teams
• Maintain detailed records and reporting systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in relevant fields
• 3–5 years experience in Indigenous or community relations
• Strong analytical capabilities and Excel proficiency
• Proven relationship-building skills
• Cultural awareness of Indigenous histories and values
