Lane Closure Specialist

As a Lane Closure Technician for The Universal Group, ensure road conditions are safe and compliance is met across BC. This role requires expertise in traffic control setups ensuring community safety.

This position focuses on traffic control within work zones, directing efforts at various construction and special event sites. The Lane Closure Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety while coordinating with contractors in diverse environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee traffic control zones and signage

• Monitor site conditions and adapt control measures

• Direct traffic control operations for contractors

• Engage in safety assessments and compliance reporting

• Attend meetings related to safety and regulations

Requirements:

• 6 months of experience as an LCT in BC

• Current TCP certification recognized in British Columbia

• Clean driving record with a valid Driver’s License

• Strong understanding of traffic management regulations

• Ability to operate effectively in changing environments
