Join Neskonlith as an Events Coordinator Assistant and facilitate meaningful community gatherings. This role requires collaboration with staff and Elders for well‑organized events. In this full‑time summer term position, you will play a crucial role in supporting event planning, logistics, and community engagement. Your organizational skills will ensure smooth execution and culturally respectful programming. Effective communication is essential to promote community events successfully.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate event planning and logistics collaboratively
- Support setup, takedown, and on‑day activities management
- Engage with community members and respect cultural protocols
- Market events via social media and notices
- Maintain organized documentation and reports
- Background in coordinating events or community activities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Availability for evenings and weekends when required
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean Driving abstract
