Senior Project Controller – Infrastructure Development

Kamloops, BC (In-Office) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (flexible based on experience)

Our client is a rapidly growing infrastructure development company focused on large-scale, high-impact projects across Canada. With a strong pipeline of complex developments, they are building out their internal finance team to support continued growth.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a senior-level role where you’ll play a key part in shaping financial operations, supporting major capital projects, and working alongside a highly experienced leadership team.

• Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
• Manage full-cycle accounting and maintain the integrity of the general ledger
• Lead project-based accounting across multiple large-scale infrastructure developments
• Track project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reporting
• Support lender and investor reporting requirements
• Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and capital planning
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial governance processes
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external partners
• Support audits, tax compliance, and year-end processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Actively pursuing CPA designation (or enrolled in CPA PEP)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based environments is strongly preferred
• Strong project accounting and cost tracking experience
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero or similar)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Experience supporting large-scale or capital-intensive projects
• Exposure to infrastructure, energy, or complex development environments
• Familiarity with project management or construction systems
