Elevate financial management at WPCIB as the Senior Finance Director. This strategic role focuses on leading financial operations and developing comprehensive compliance strategies.

As the Finance Director, you will report directly to the Administrator and oversee the financial health of WPCIB.

Your role includes preparing budgets, monitoring fiscal performance, and ensuring compliance with Financial Administrative Law. Your direct reports will include key finance personnel, and you will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment through mentorship and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the finance strategy effectively

• Supervise daily financial tasks including payroll and accounting

• Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations

• Lead team to maintain high standards in fiscal governance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar

• Minimum eight years in financial management

• Proven leadership experience managing teams

• Proficient in Sage 300 and Microsoft applications

• Experienced in working with First Nations policies
