Job Description
As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you help clients reach their goals while building your own business within the RBC network. You have the training, support, and resources to assist in the journey.

- Driven to provide meaningful work by offering strong planning and financial advice.
- Leverage RBC’s brand and reputation to build a client base of high‑net‑worth individuals, families and business owners.
- Use RBC’s investment and wealth management resources to design custom portfolios and wealth plans.
- Foster trusted, multi‑generational, long‑term relationships through personalized service.
- Maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to support clients in all financial aspects.
- 4–6 years of outbound sales experience and comfortable earning 100% commission.
- Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) by start date.
- Passion for financial planning and strong interest in portfolio management.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to connect with all types of individuals.
- Direct marketing experience in financial services with evidence of high‑value sales and business development.
- Completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certifications.
