Position: Internship in Financial Insights with BDO

Enhance your financial skills and client relations as a Co-op or Intern with BDO's Financial Reporting & Insights team starting May 2027. Focus on tax preparation and compliance initiatives in multiple BC offices.

This internship invites students pursuing an accounting degree or diploma to join BDO for a 4- or 8-month period in various locations including Salmon Arm, Vernon, and Kamloops. You'll leverage your academic knowledge to prepare tax returns while engaging with clients and contributing to tax compliance projects. Strong communication skills will be key in maintaining effective team dynamics and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for a range of clients

• Support compliance projects in line with regulations

• Foster relationships with clients, addressing requests

• Communicate with team members about ongoing work

Requirements:

• Currently studying accounting or a related field

• Passion for client service and collaboration
