Beem Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Advisor for member services at the Lansdowne Branch in Kamloops, BC. This full-time role emphasizes person-centered service to enhance members’ financial health.
As an Advisor, you will develop rapport with over 200,000 members by analyzing their needs and recommending tailored financial solutions. Your responsibilities include processing transactions, conducting loan interviews, and managing administrative duties while maintaining regulatory compliance. Your proactive approach will help turn member needs into opportunities for impactful interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open accounts and manage transaction processing
• Conduct loan interviews for necessary credit checks
• Execute various member transactions accurately
• Provide administrative support for branch operations
• Ensure accurate daily transaction reporting
Requirements:
• High School diploma or relevant experience
• 1-3 years in a financial service setting
• Understanding of credit and investment products
• Familiarity with financial planning courses beneficial
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
