Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000

We are seeking a positive, hands‑on, motivated, people‑ and service‑oriented leader to join our expanding team in Revelstoke.

Job Duties
  • Oversee and contribute to the successful day‑to‑day operation of the Housekeeping Department
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training and retaining a strong service‑oriented team
  • Supervise all housekeeping employees to ensure guests receive the highest standard of cleanliness and service
  • Conduct guest room and public area inspections
  • Monitor and manage labor efficiencies and all other departmental costs
  • Order departmental supplies, manage product storage and conduct inventories
  • Create work schedules for all department team members
  • Ensure Sutton Place Hotels policies and procedures are followed
Requirements

Fast‑paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads; physically demanding; attention to detail; combination of standing, walking, standing for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling

  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on leadership ability
  • Positive attitude, pleasant personality, and a strong ability to motivate, train, develop and guide a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Minimum 3 years housekeeping experience with at least 2 years in a direct supervisory or management role in hotels
  • Knowledge of laundry operations
Working Conditions
  • Various indoor and outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 25 pounds
