Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, situated at 1730 Trans-Canada Hwy, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0, is currently looking for applications for the role of Hotel front desk manager who is a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The selected candidate must start work promptly. The available positions are for Permanent employment or full-time jobs. The shift times for this position are Morning, Day and Weekend.

• The candidate must perform front desk duties.
• The candidate must address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must respond to complaints of guests.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
• The candidate must ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met.
• The candidate must coordinate work activities with other departments.

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

• The candidate should work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities framed in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the room.

• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
