In this position, you will oversee payroll for Canadian employees, focusing on accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines. With at least two years of full-cycle payroll experience and a solid understanding of labour relations, you will manage data across the employee life cycle while collaborating closely with team members for effective payroll delivery. A customer-first approach is essential in addressing employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute accurate full-cycle payroll for specific locations
• Collect, validate, and reconcile timekeeping data
• Handle employee data relating to hires, terminations, and changes
• Maintain compliance with payroll documentation and laws
• Work with HR and Finance to solve payroll discrepancies
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing
• Unionized payroll handling experience is required
• Educational background in accounting or business administration
• Familiarity with payroll software like ADP and UKGPro
• PCP or CPM achieved is a plus, but not mandatory
