Experienced HR Generalist Position

Join Interior Community Services as a Human Resources Generalist in Kamloops, BC, to support organizational growth and employee development. This dynamic full-time role encompasses recruitment, leave management, and employee relations.

In this position, you will collaborate with leaders and HR Coordinators to ensure compliance and effective people management practices throughout the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment for leadership roles, managing complex employee relations, and refining HR policies. Your expertise will be essential in achieving organizational objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare employment offers and manage pre-employment requirements

• Coordinate workplace accommodations and return-to-work plans

• Support revisions of HR policies and onboarding processes

• Maintain HR metrics and prepare reports

• Manage and nurture labour-management relationships

Requirements:

• Human Resources degree or related discipline

• Three years of progressive HR experience

• Knowledge of HR best practices and employee legislation

• Ability to interpret collective agreements

• Valid BC Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
