Position: Experienced Pit Supervisor for Open-Pit Mining Operations
Location: Logan Lake

Lead mining crews and ensure safety as a Pit Supervisor. Focus on operational efficiency and compliance while fostering a safety-first culture on-site.

In this role, you'll supervise frontline teams and manage daily mining activities effectively. Your experience in open-pit mining operations is essential as you monitor performance and guide crews in achieving production targets. A strong emphasis on safety leadership and adherence to operational standards will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce safety and environmental rules diligently

• Supervise daily mining plans and crew tasks

• Monitor equipment utilization and ensure efficient operations

• Maintain accurate shift records and compliance documentation

• Address safety incidents and recommend improvements

Requirements:

• 5+ years in open-pit mining with supervisory experience

• Valid Shift Boss Certificate or eligibility

• Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of mining safety regulations

• Basic computer skills; familiarity with fleet systems preferred
