Elevate aquatic stewardship with the Lower Nicola Indian Band in Merritt, BC as a Senior Aquatic Manager. This full-time role focuses on fisheries restoration and compliance.
As the Senior Aquatic Manager, you will be responsible for leading habitat restoration projects and managing fisheries programs.
Your role will involve supervising field operations while collaborating with various stakeholders to meet regulatory standards. This position combines field leadership with essential administration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage aquatic habitat restoration and monitoring initiatives
• Lead field staff and ensure high-quality project management
• Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Analyze environmental data and prepare reports
• Build collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Fisheries, Aquatic Biology, or closely related field
• Over 5 years of experience in fisheries science
