Shelter Manager

Lead the charge against homelessness as a Shelter Manager with The Mustard Seed in Kamloops, BC. Oversee staff, coordinate services, and foster a supportive environment for residents. Key Responsibilities   Prioritize solutions for staff and guest concerns
Facilitate meetings and internal communication
Oversee HR duties and employee training
Lead monthly support meetings with staff
Prepare monthly reports for the Director of Shelters
Requirements   Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field
Minimum 2 years in mental health or homelessness
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experienced in strategic planning and program evaluation
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
