This full-time position focuses on environmental stewardship and responsible resource management by overseeing all regulatory compliance and permitting activities. You’ll work collaboratively with various stakeholders while nurturing environmental professionals within the organization, making significant contributions to sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement regulatory compliance frameworks
• Coordinate environmental assessments and monitoring programs
• Lead environmental risk assessment and mitigation efforts
• Facilitate consultations with Indigenous communities and stakeholders
• Manage budgets and resources for environmental initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related area
• Minimum of three years' experience in environmental management
• Experience in supervising teams is essential
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and Indigenous consultation
• Criminal Record Check and a valid BC Driver's Licence
