Overview
This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and all aspects of Paladin business within that portfolio. This includes not only being the main point of client contact, but also managing the security team that works within the portfolio. The Client Service Manager will regularly be meeting with clients and security staff to ensure that everyone's needs are met.

TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management

Ensures all sites have up to date and complete Site Orders both in hard copy on site and in digital copy on the network server.

Ensures that there are adequate numbers of trained security staff to meet all of Paladin's contractual obligations within the portfolio of business.

Develops and maintains frequent security evaluations of client facilities and ensures appropriate recommendations are made to Client Service Manager so that clients' security needs are met.

Communicates appropriate information to Operations / Field Operations Supervisors as needed to ensure that any outstanding issues are dealt with in a timely fashion.

Team Leadership

Performs interviews and meets all new staff being considered for sites within the portfolio.

Ensures all staff within their portfolio has adequate training based on industry, corporate, and client standards.

Provides motivational and disciplinary discussions with all staff assigned within the portfolio as needed.

Account Management

Prepare operational reports, KPI tracking, and client updates.

Ensures that the vision, strategic mission, and security management plan are executed through Paladin's delivery systems.

Maintain an excellent rapport and relationship with the client's stakeholders and Corporate Security group.

Perform other duties as assigned based on the business and operational needs.

Skills and Abilities

Proven knowledge and experience in security, business, and financial reporting.

Highly responsive with well-developed customer service skills (customer centric).

Ability to pass contractual background checks and required training / orientation.

Excellent situational awareness skills (business and security).

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate and problem solve.

Proven ability to effectively supervise and manage people.

Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, including delivering presentations to groups.

Ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic environment.

Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all situations.

Experience and Education

Experience reviewing written and digital reports from field staff.

Experience performing investigations into security incidents and performance management issues.

Experience with People & Culture Practices, including but not limited to interviewing, training, general staffing and deployment, performance management and succession planning.

Experience overseeing, delivering and adjusting Training and Policies and Procedures as part of continuous improvement process.

Experience with Occupational Health & Safety.

Successful applicant must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, preferably in a Security setting, or a combination of experience and relevant experience and education.

A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent.

The successful applicant will be willing to join industry professional associations and have a desire to learn through professional certification processes.

Assets

A relevant Post-Secondary Diploma or University Degree (i.e., Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or Psychology).

Occupational Health & Safety and Accident Investigations experience.

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid BC Security Licence

Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License

This job reports to the Branch Manager.

This is a Full-Time position Monday through Friday.
