KAFS seeks a Family Services Manager to coordinate a variety of community-based programs under the Ministry of Children and Family Development. This role requires expertise in social services and leadership skills, especially within Indigenous communities. A commitment to cultural values and community integrity is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and mentor a team of up to 15 staff
• Manage program contracts and oversee financial reporting
• Conduct performance evaluations and handle staff management
• Ensure effective scheduling and operational oversight
• Collaborate in strategic planning initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field
• 7–10 years of relevant Indigenous-focused experience
• 3–5 years of direct leadership and supervision
• Knowledge of social service legislation for Indigenous communities
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Lead with integrity and cultural understanding as you manage community programs and staff at KAFS.
