Position: Family Services Manager Role

The Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society seeks a skilled Family Services Manager to ensure effective delivery of programs funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development. This leadership role demands extensive knowledge in social services, particularly within Indigenous frameworks. A strong commitment to cultural integrity and community-focused programming will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee up to 15 staff, ensuring strong team leadership

• Manage contractual agreements and program outcomes

• Conduct performance management and staff oversight

• Approve scheduling and meet operational needs

• Engage in strategic planning and implementation

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or similar

• 7–10 years in Indigenous human services

• 3–5 years direct leadership experience

• Strong knowledge of relevant social service legislation

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
