Position: Director of Governance for University
Join us as the Director of Governance, leading critical initiatives in university governance. This strategic role involves enhancing decision-making across governance bodies and implementing effective policies.

As the Director, you will provide essential support to the Board of Governors, Senate, and the Planning Council for Open Learning. You'll ensure governance operations align with best practices while managing the Secretariat team and enhancing governance visibility through strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct management and support for governance activities

• Offer comprehensive guidance on jurisdiction and policy

• Oversee organization of governance meetings and documentation

• Execute the continuous improvement of governance processes

• Lead strategic initiatives and special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Public Administration or Management

• 5-7 years of experience in governance support

• Proven track record in post-secondary governance

• Supervisory experience in an academic context

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
