Family Service Manager at KAFS

KAFS is looking for a dedicated Family Service Manager to oversee its community-based initiatives. This role focuses on fulfilling Ministry of Children and Family Development contracts with respect to Indigenous values. Ideal candidates will have a background in social services, with strong leadership capabilities for managing diverse teams and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise up to 15 staff members across program areas

• Manage program contracts, delivering outcomes per funding agreements

• Conduct departmental report reviews and submit updates

• Oversee staff hiring, scheduling, and performance management

• Manage department budgets and responsible fund usage

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Services or related field required

• 7-10 years in Indigenous-focused human services

• 3-5 years in leadership with program oversight

• Knowledge of legislation in social services

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
