Join the Lower Nicola Indian Band in Merritt, BC as a Natural Resources Coordinator. This full-time role supports environmental initiatives and project coordination to enhance natural resource management.

As a Natural Resources Coordinator, you will work under the Director of Economic Development, contributing to key projects in fisheries, forestry, and environmental restoration. You will develop project plans, monitor timelines, and support data collection while collaborating with community members and stakeholders for effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support natural resource and environmental initiatives

• Develop project work plans and maintain budgets

• Monitor project deliverables and timelines

• Identify funding opportunities for initiatives

• Coordinate community engagement and meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

• Minimum two years of related experience

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working with First Nations or community projects
