Position: Coordinator for Healthy Family Program
Métis Nation British Columbia is seeking a Healthy Family Program Coordinator to enhance nutrition education for families. This hybrid role focuses on culturally relevant programming and community engagement.

As a full-time coordinator, you will lead initiatives supporting Métis families with children from birth to eight years old. Key functions involve implementing nutrition strategies, engaging stakeholders, and organizing workshops on healthy eating.

Your role is integral in promoting early childhood development through culturally grounded learning while ensuring ongoing program sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement culturally relevant nutrition programs

• Coordinate workshops on gardening and healthy cooking

• Build partnerships with community organizations and service providers

• Analyze feedback to improve program effectiveness

• Maintain records and program performance analytics

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field

• At least three years in relevant program coordination

• In-depth understanding of Métis traditions and food security

• Strong advocacy and policy development skills

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel may be required
