Healthy Family Program Engagement Specialist

Join our mission to enhance early childhood development as a Healthy Family Program Coordinator. This hybrid role emphasizes nutrition education for Métis families from birth to age eight.

As a vital part of the team, you'll lead programming that fosters food literacy and supports culturally relevant wellness initiatives. Collaborating with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community partners is key to effective engagement, ensuring the successful delivery of programs that address the unique needs of Métis families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop program guidelines and secure necessary resources

• Build relationships with community partners and service providers

• Coordinate workshops on nutrition and gardening initiatives

• Support data tracking and program performance metrics

• Assist in grant proposals and funding applications

Requirements:

• Diploma in Nutrition, Public Health, or similar field

• Minimum 3 years in program coordination or community engagement

• Strong project management skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders

• Willingness to travel for program activities and engagement
