Environmental Project Coordinator at LNIB

Location: Merritt

Step into the role of Environmental Project Coordinator with the Lower Nicola Indian Band in Merritt, BC. This position focuses on supporting aquatics, forestry, and environmental initiatives.

You will collaborate with the Director of Economic Development to implement natural resource initiatives, ensuring proper monitoring and reporting throughout each project. By engaging with LNIB community members, you'll help disseminate project information and contribute to various environmental efforts, enhancing community sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating environmental and natural resource projects

• Develop and maintain project plans and monitor budgets

• Support funding applications and reporting requirements

• Facilitate community communication and project workshops

• Collaborate with diverse internal and external partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with two years of experience

• Proven experience in natural resource management

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

• Willingness to learn the Nlaka’pamux language
