In this pivotal position, you will oversee programming for Métis families with young children, focusing on food literacy and wellness. Your expertise will guide the implementation of culturally significant educational resources and workshops, while collaborating with communities. You will be responsible for engaging diverse stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the Métis Food Program Framework with feedback
• Coordinate engagement sessions and workshops across communities
• Gather insights from families to design relevant programs
• Manage partnerships for enhanced access to resources
• Track program outcomes and budgeting for sustainability
Requirements:
• Required diploma in Nutrition, Public Health, or related area
• Minimum three years experience in Indigenous community work
• Deep knowledge of Métis heritage and food systems
• Strong capacity for communication and program evaluation
• Willingness to travel within the province for programs
Lead the charge in fostering healthy families through impactful community engagement and well-designed nutrition programming.
