Lead culturally relevant nutrition education programs for Métis families as the Healthy Family Program Coordinator. Engage communities and promote wellness for children up to age eight.
In this vital role, you'll develop and deliver nutrition education and family wellness programming tailored to Métis families. Your expertise will shape the Métis Food Program Framework while fostering collaboration with Elders, service providers, and community partners. You’ll also support community-driven initiatives, ensuring culturally grounded learning opportunities flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Refine and implement the Métis Food Program Framework
• Conduct targeted research to guide program strategies
• Develop program guidelines and secure necessary resources
• Support community engagement for nutrition education
• Analyze feedback for transparency and accountability
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Minimum three years in program coordination or community engagement
• Strong understanding of Métis culture and food systems
• Excellent project management and advocacy skills
• Ability to write reports and proposals
