• Ensure a friendly atmosphere for both guests andstaff, maximizing quality of service.
• Prepare, cook, and plate food to established quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure that food is received, stored, handled and prepared in a hygienic and safe manner.
• Assist with inventory and menu development asneeded.
• Maintain effective communication through restaurant and with teammates.
• Promote a safe, sanitized work environment,ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management.
• Participate in orientation, team meetings, regular cleaning, and season-end clean and close procedures.
• A genuine passion for food and a love of cooking
• The physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, perform manual tasks, andstand for extended periods
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends,and holidays
• A valid Food Safe or equivalent food handling certification
• A culinary background, education, or diploma (an asset)

• Competitive Wage: $20.15 - $23.05 per hour, based on experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in a food preparation role within aprofessional dining establishment.
