Position: Core Cutter Role
Take on a Core Cutter role at Coeur’s New Afton Mine, contributing to exploration drilling programs. This position offers a steady schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.

This temporary position focuses on core handling and supporting sampling efforts crucial for mineral exploration. Working closely with the Exploration Supervisor, you’ll ensure the highest standards of safety and cleanliness are maintained while assisting with vital QA/QC practices. Coeur’s community and environmental commitments guide our operational practices at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage and store core boxes

• Prepare and ship core samples

• Conduct sawing and sampling of core materials

• Assist in maintaining QA/QC standards

• Ensure the work area is clean and safe

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent background

• Physically capable of performing position duties

• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities

• Previous experience with diamond drill core advantageous

• Must hold a valid Class driver’s license
