As our Senior Fisheries and Aquatic Biologist, you will navigate complex regulatory requirements and manage multidisciplinary projects. Your leadership will be essential in conducting baseline assessments, aquatic effects evaluations, and producing high-quality technical reports. You will also engage with clients and stakeholders to provide effective guidance and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead baseline fisheries assessments and habitat characterization
• Conduct aquatic effects assessments and predictive modeling
• Develop technical reports aligned with legislation
• Manage project scope, budget, and quality assurance
• Engage with clients, regulators, and Indigenous communities
Requirements:
• 15+ years in environmental consulting, focusing on fisheries
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology;
Master’s preferred
• Accreditation as a Professional Biologist in BC
• Strong knowledge of aquatic field protocols
• Excellent project management and communication skills
