Field- Geologist

Position: Field-Based Geologist at Axis Geoscience
Join Axis Geoscience Ltd. as a Field-Based Geologist and lead exploration programs across rugged Canadian terrains. Engage in geological mapping, core logging, and prospecting while ensuring safety and compliance.

This contract role focuses on practical, discovery-oriented exploration supporting junior mineral companies. You'll plan and execute field programs, supervise drill operations, and collect geological data. With a strong emphasis on safety and environmental responsibility, you will contribute significantly to exploration targets and effective communication among teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute geological field programs

• Supervise drill campaigns and coordinate with contractors

• Collect and validate geological and geotechnical data

• Maintain accurate field and core records

• Contribute to maps, reports, and exploration models

Requirements:

• Strong field skills in mapping and prospecting

• Experience with core logging and drill supervision

• Understanding of gold/copper and uranium exploration

• Proficiency in GIS and geological software

• Ability to work independently in remote settings
